Who is the tall, dark stranger there? Maverick is the name. Ridin' the trail to who knows where maybe the Ponderosa, maybe the nearest Hilton?

Scared the bejebus outta the Aspie teen this arvo.
*insert evil giggle here*
His father and I instructed him to sit on the couch and watch a little TV with his grandfather before he headed off to swimming.
Dad flicked Maverick on.
You know what happened?
Go on, you know what happened.
The Maverick theme song began.
Aspie teen was glued to the couch in horror as his father, myself and my Dad began signing along.
Word perfect.
Yeah, and then the horror continued when Bonanza came on straight after it.
With us clapping the tune out on our thighs with our hands "duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh Bonanza!!! duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh...."
He was showing the whites of his eyes when we began discussing the overly active love life of Little Joe and the lack of gal/boy/mule action for poor Hoss....figured it was a healthy time for them to head off to swimming.
"..........Maverick is the legend of the weeeeeeeeest"

Maverick AND Bonanza??
Oh, I miss those shows....
Are they on regular TV? Or do you have Foxtel there?
Here in Adelaide they're not showing.

After the last post, it is nice to have a laugh. How could two brothers be so different. I loved Little Joe.

Here in the States, those of us with Cable TV have access to a channel called "Me TV", and another called "Me Too, TV" - which was formed because there is 50 years of old TV programs out there and one channel ain't enough. My 84 year old mother watches both of them - given her age I don't need to tell you that to her, this is brand new TV. She keeps asking where they find all these "Perry Mason" programs she's never seen before.

We have an Asberger's boy - with ADHD. Although he's high functioning - there are some special challenges to deal with - both for us, and for him. so, in a way, I understand a bit.

LOL! Gary and I sang the Gilligan's Island theme song a while back and received similar reactions from all boys. :)

After the last post, I'm glad you had something light. Now do I admit I've never seen either of them?
